Flow Science studied the water movement patterns of the 2420 Zone 30 million-gallon rectangular water storage reservoir using CFD. Three proposed configurations were evaluated. The analysis provided the designers with valuable information for choosing the most effective configuration that maximizes water quality and meets various cost and geometric constraints.
